KO Po-yu《Plant Whisper》
Plant Whisper extends the cave-like imagery of the Grand Theater foyer, using plant life as its central motif to highlight the organic qualities and natural atmosphere of the NTT architecture, while magnifying the viewer's imaginative engagement with the space. Through generative art algorithms that simulate natural phenomena, the work brings forth everyday yet often overlooked details, such as branches and leaves swaying in the wind and vegetation slowly spreading across its surroundings.
Magnified through digital techniques, these subtle movements underscore the quality of "subtlety" inherent in nature, while also serving as a counterpoint to the vast expanses of the architectural space. By allowing the "small" to reflect the "large," the work creates a tension between nature's delicacy and human-driven amplification, inviting audiences to rediscover fragile, poetic presences within a monumental spatial context.

HeyMechanic!《BOBEE: Rhapsody of the Procession》
The term "procession" evokes a constellation of cultural practices, nostalgia of home, spatial experience, and s of local identity. Within Taiwan's richly layered cultural landscape, its meaning has gradually expanded beyond a purely religious rite to become a complex and multifaceted form of communal celebration. The collective state of mind that emerges as participants pray for BOBEE (divine protection) immerses itself in the diversity of the crowd, while also unfolding as a process of self-recognition.
BOBEE: Rhapsody of the Procession digitally reinterprets traditional architectural ornamentation, creating characters inspired by the distinctive aesthetic of Koji pottery, and offers a contemporary reimagining of the Mazu procession. Taking advantage of the NTT's enveloping spatial design, monumental projection-mapped imagery surrounds the audience, shaping an immersive sensory experience. Musically, the work draws on a Chinese orchestra to depict the procession, with sweeping movements that propel the collective journey forward.
By weaving together traditional and contemporary elements, the work aspires to create an immersive audiovisual spectacle that offers a renewed vision of the procession.

LIU Kuan-wen & JHAO Yi-han《Light in Bloom, Life in Flow》
Centered on light as its core theme, the work explores how human civilization has unfolded under the guidance of nature, while reflecting on pathways toward coexistence with the environment. From early reverence for the natural world and the alignment of daily life with the cycles of the sun, moon, and seasons, to the contemporary use of technological intelligence to reshape our surroundings, this trajectory traces the evolution of humanity's understanding of the world.
Each step forward marks not only a leap in civilization, but also serves as a reminder that the pursuit of progress must be grounded in respect for nature. Through this work, the artists invite audiences to retrace the course of human civilization and to reconsider the balance between humanity and the environment.

HSIAO Li-chi《The Nonexistent Botanical Garden》
The Nonexistent Botanical Garden is a virtual garden that employs digital documentation and 3D scanning to record wildflowers and grasses from around the world. By transforming their forms and structures into digital data, the work brings the beauty of nature into the virtual realm, exploring the potential of digital technology as a means of ecological documentation and re-creation.
This digitized ecosystem transcends physical, geographical, and cultural boundaries, creating an immersive experience of virtual nature within digital space. As climate change and ecological destruction intensify, many plant species face the threat of disappearance. Through this digital botanical garden, plants are allowed to exist in an alternative form within human memory and interaction, inhabiting human-defined spaces in new ways.
Once scanned, the 3D plant models can be redefined in scale, reconfigured in movement, and reshaped in dimension, enabling viewers to shift perspectives and experience new relationships between themselves and plant life.

Phototaxis.tv《Eco-Symphony of the Future: A Green Coexistence》
A symphony between nature and civilization unfolds, as the breath of our era flows through shifting light. The faint glow of dawn, pure and elemental, gently awakens the earth. Yet as time advances, human desire and technological intervention seep in, fragmenting into disruptive noise, at once a warning from the land and a powerless cry, etched deep within collective memory.
Nature, however, has never ceased. Through unseen energies, it cleanses the human spirit, transforming pollution into currents of renewal and ruins into rhythms of living force. Points of urban light begin to converge, coalescing into silhouettes of reborn trees. Is this true regeneration, or merely an illusory projection?
Poised between destruction and reconstruction, the work asks: can humanity learn to listen and resonate with nature? Only through coexistence can we compose the green symphony of the future.

hwh. × ZAP《Flow》
Flow is an animated projection work that explores the poetic relationship between water and light. Through digital particle simulations inspired by the sonic qualities of rainsticks and water ripples, the work constructs a virtual seascape in which a fluid visual narrative unfolds across the curved, dome-like walls.
The piece traces water in states ranging from stillness to turbulence, and from order to chaos. Particles appear to be set in motion by an unseen force, at times spreading into gentle ripples, at others colliding and interweaving with intensity, forming a distinctive visual rhythm. Each glimmering wave of light is carefully composed to circulate, refract, and merge within the curved spatial environment, creating a waterworld that is at once realistic and surreal.

hwh.
Founded in 2024, hwh. is led by core creator HUANG Wei-Hsuan, a digital artist whose practice explores the boundary between the virtual and the real. Integrating digital imagery, animation, and XR technologies, the studio’s work reconfigures relationships between humans and space. Its projects have been presented on international platforms including the CHRONIQUES Biennale for Digital Imaginaries in Marseille, the Lincoln Center in Colorado, and the Kaohsiung Film Festival. Since 2019, hwh. has collaborated with Stadsschouwburg Utrecht in the Netherlands on XR projects, and from 2023 to 2024 participated in the XR2C2 Lab at Université Côte d'Azur in Cannes. The studio has also served as video designer for productions at the National Theater and Concert Hall, the National Taichung Theater, and the Taipei Arts Festival.
