The National Taichung Theater was established to promote regional development through arts and culture in three corresponding areas: artistic creation, cultivation of new talent and audience development.
A healthy artistic ecology relies on both creativity and education. NTT+ was established in spring 2019 to encourage arts awareness among four target groups: the general audience, arts professionals, teachers and students, and families. We establish partnerships with all age groups, touching on both broad topics and specific themes. Bringing the arts into daily life, we strive to create a strong artistic environment in central Taiwan, providing an environment for artists to remain or return to Taichung.
