The Jazz Queen is in Town for a Blues Night, the New York style!

Have you ever been transported to New York, the capital city of Jazz by Frank Sinatra's “New York, New York” where you can bask in the vivid and dreamlike sounds of the American dream?

Novelist and jazz aficionado, Haruki Murakami, once mused, "If I possessed a time machine, I would travel back to the New York of 1954 and revel in the live performance of Clifford Brown and Max Roach Quintet at that jazz club." This year, the National Taichung Theater's New Year's Eve Concert, "Let's Blues!" is set to bring this dream to life. We're transforming the Grand Theater into a New York jazz club, presenting an unforgettable night in the heart of Manhattan!

Are you still savoring the excitement of two consecutive vintage jazz nights last year? "Let's Be Blues!" is back, led by jazz trumpeter and curator Stacey WEI, along with a fantastic jazz ensemble. We are thrilled to have the American jazz diva, Mandy GAINES, and the vocalist Judy CHOU to revive East Coast jazz classics on the stage. With diverse swing line-up, let's bid farewell to 2023 with a night of Let's Blues, as we count down to the New Year together!
