Nick Javier
Trombonist
Nick Javier is an American trombonist who graduated from Michigan State University and Royal Conservatoire in the Netherlands. In 2008, he earned a Master's degree in Jazz Performance from Michigan State University. Nick is a regular performer at events such as the Taipei Jazz Festival, Taichung Jazz Music Festival, and Taichung Instrument Festival. In 2013, he was invited to perform at the Thailand International Jazz Festival, and during the summer of 2010, he was invited by Japanese drummer Tomoyuki Okabe to perform in Tokyo and Yokohama.
Nick has also collaborated closely with the pop music industry, working with artists such as Jay Chou, Tiger Huang, Jia Jia, and David Tao. He has also taught at National Dong Hwa University and National Chiayi University.
