BROS delves into a captivating exploration of human nature's dark side. A group of male actors, recruited through a public call, find themselves bound by a pact that compels them to strictly adhere to remote instructions in their performances. Clad in police uniforms, they exhibit structural violence, reminiscent of a cryptic and symbolic ritual. Audiences are forced to confront the harsh realities depicted on stage, while deciphering the enigmatic and unsettling scenes. Director Castellucci, embarking from the tradition of Greek tragedies, aims to explore power dynamics from an anthropological perspective. With a blend of striking visuals, absurd imagery, and cryptic symbolism, BROS engulfs viewers in a haunting and thought-provoking experience, challenging their notions of complicity in the face of banal evil.
