LuxuryLogico The Last Question
2026/04/15(Wed)~2026/04/19(Sun)
LuxuryLogico transforms the theater into a vast machine of poetry
a living mechanism in which sound, light, stage, and space all become storytellers.
A sphere of light ascends, shadows murmur softly, and before you are ready, the theater has already begun its inquiry.
There are no actors, no spoken lines.
Light, sound, machinery, and space take over the act of speech,
with no intermission, no dialogue, and no escape.
You will step into your kitchen, then into the moment the sky shifts without warning, then beneath a memory-laden tree in the forest, and even into the confines of a space capsule, as questions you can never foresee surge toward you.
This is a performance without performers, yet you may never have been so close to the theater’s soul.
The light of the Earth and the shadow of the cosmos speak to each other, asking their questions, waiting for your reply.
What is the last question?
Will it begin again?
From exhibition space to theater, from sound-and-light installation to immersive storytelling, LuxuryLogico presents its first theatrical “mechanical poem.” Within the performance, the stage rises and falls with musical cadence. Lasers and walls of light project prophecies across the air.
The immersive soundscape seems to emerge from the ocean floor of memory. All moves in perfect synchrony, like a dream calculated into being, a vision written in the future tense of theater.
The audience drifts through a simulated cosmos of choice and rebirth, a last question where light and intelligence converge.
You are not a spectator.
You are the answer.

LuxuryLogico
Founded in 2010 by CHANG Keng-hau, CHANG Geng-hwa, CHEN YI, and LIN Kun-ying, LuxuryLogico emerged from the merger of two collectives, “Luxury Bros” and “Logico.”
CHANG Keng-hau and CHANG Geng-hwa focus on sculpture and mechanical installation, CHEN YI specializes in spatial and programmatic media, while LIN Kun-ying brings expertise in music, curation, and direction. Together, the four artists have established a distinctive presence in visual and new-media art through their interdisciplinary practice.
Blending hybrid forms and cross-disciplinary thinking, LuxuryLogico draws inspiration from nature and social phenomena, seeking harmony between the extremes of technology and humanity. Their works span theater, film, dance, architecture, pop music, and economic behavior, often evoking poetic resonance through minimalist design. The collective has received numerous honors, including the 2019 Presidential Culture Award for Youth Creativity and the Golden Pin Design Award for Best Design of the Year, and has been invited to international festivals such as Kunstfest Weimar in Germany, the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale in Japan, and the Thailand Biennale.
Representative works include One Day, Equal, and M; the mechanical cauldron for the 2017 Taipei Universiade, which brought global attention to Taiwan; the floral installation The Sound of Blooming at the 2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition; the large-scale performance Flowing Feast at the 2019 Tainan Arts Festival; and the public artwork Poetry of Light presented at Nuit Blanche Taipei 2020.
In recent years, LuxuryLogico has continued to expand its explorations in immersive theater and data-driven storytelling with projects such as Hard,Hard, and Current/y. In 2025, the collective participated in We TAIWAN: Taiwan Culture in Osaka – Expo 2025 Kansai, and in the same year presented a major collective exhibition, Cosmic Sketches—The LuxuryLogico Exhibition, at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei. Centered on the theme “It’s all connected,” the exhibition articulated the collective’s ongoing reflections and creative practices concerning the symbiotic relationships among technology, humanity, and nature.
This landmark exhibition also marked a significant milestone in LuxuryLogico’s 15-year creative journey, showcasing the vitality of Taiwan’s cross-disciplinary creativity on the global stage.
