Twinkle, Twinkle, Magic Flute

When we think of musical instruments, we often picture violins, flutes, pianos, or trumpets. Yet the most universal, affordable, and expressive instrument is the human voice. Whether sung solo, with accompaniment, or layered into instrumental music, it adds rich emotion and vitality. Fugue presents a scene from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, where Papageno and Princess Pamina escape the villain Monostatos. Children are introduced to each character’s unique musical theme and experience the dramatic coloratura aria ‘Der Hölle Rache’, feeling the power and intensity of the operatic voice up close.
