When the Shakespearean classic is peppered with Taiwanese hipster flair, the timeless work morphs into a captivating love extravaganza! Co-directed by emerging directors, WU Jing and CHEN Jung, this adaptation of Shakespeare's everlasting love story, Romeo and Juliet, transports the scene from 16th century Verona to present-day Taiwan. What happens when Romeo encounters not one, but three Juliets? Will he become a wilder and crazier Hamlet? From the moment of falling in love, amidst the relentless pursuit of fate, every encounter becomes a test of loyalty and honesty, catching the lovers off guard. This production embraces green theater and sustainable art, incorporating recycled costumes, sets, and props from NTT, breathing new life into the stage.
