“and time future contained in time past” is a composer portrait recital by Taiwanese-Canadian composer Hsiu-Ping Patrick Wu, with visuals by Chieh Yu, exploring time, memory, and cultural continuity through chamber works written between 2018 and the present. Presented in Taipei and Taichung in collaboration with the Changhua Chamber Music Society, the program brings together piano trio, string quartet, and guzheng with string quartet. Through repetition and subtle change, the music invites listeners to experience time as something to be heard.
