NTSO Voices of the Vanguard: From the 20th Century, conduct by NTSO Assistant Conductor WU Hung-i, features a dynamic selection of 20th-century masterpieces, including Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1 Classical, Falla’s The Three Cornered Hat, and Copland’s Appalachian Spring. In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Professor MA Shui-long’s passing in 2025, the NTSO will also present his representative work, Bamboo Flute Concerto as a tribute to the esteemed composer. Internationally renowned bamboo flute virtuoso CHEN Chung-shen will join as soloist for this special performance.
