Introduction
Island of Light is inspired by Taiwan’s mountains, oceans, and Indigenous mythologies. The play unfolds in two chapters—Mountains and Seas and Celestial Light—exploring harmony between humanity and nature. Diabolos streak like meteors as performers embody mythic spirits. Through immersive multimedia, the stage transforms into a luminous island, bridging ancient myth and a vision of a sustainable future.
