Choreographer CHEN Po-chieh has initiated a trilogy of choreographic project centered around the body as the core form of , exploring essence, personal history, and societal awareness. The first chapeter, Locus is set to be premiered in 2024. It’s choreographed by CHEN Po-chieh and co-developed and performed in collaboration with two dancers: CHEN Li-yin and HSU Ching-wen. The choreographer will delve into the essence and logic of the body, collaborating dancers in the exploration of existing and forgotten bodily histories and contexts. They aim to reveal the transformations and accumulations of time and events, uncovering potentialities that are either apparent or latent. This interpretation is achieved through the embodiment of the body and theatrical aesthetics. Locus is a piece about humanity and time, a poem composed through the language of the body.
