Arco Lab Chamber Music Concert
10/08(Thu)19:30
This concert brings together two beloved chamber music classics. Opening the program is Schubert's Trout Quintet, renowned for its fresh, flowing melodies and masterful variation technique—most notably the theme and variations in the fourth movement, "The Trout," which fully showcase Schubert's distinctive lyricism and songful expressoin.
The second half features Glinka's Grand Sextet in E-flat Major, a work that reveals the Russian composer's unique voice in blending European classical tradition with his own personal style. Its rich dialogue between voices and layered timbres present audiences with the refined charm of chamber ensemble playing.
Performed in the chamber music format of a string sextet, this concert promises to offer audiences a musical feast that is both classic and profound.
