R.O.C. Air Force Band Flying High 2025

The Air Force Military Band serves as the ceremonial unit of the Air Force, regularly performing at major national celebrations and military ceremonies. Each year, the band stages the “Flying High” concert tour across the country, receiving enthusiastic acclaim from the music community.
For this occasion, conductor Professor Yui-Biau Hou and saxophonist Professor Po-Yuan Ku will join forces with the entire Air Force Military Band to present a selection of beloved pieces, including “Howl’s Moving Castle: Symphonic Fantasy for Band”, “Nostalgic American TV Series Theme Songs”, and “Saxophone Concertino – Solo for Alto and Soprano Saxophone & Band”. The concert will also feature “The Symphony of Flight”, an original composition specially commissioned for the Air Force from renowned Taiwanese composer Tsen-Ling Lin. With such an exciting program, the audience is sure to enjoy a truly memorable musical experience.
