Astor Piazzolla is no doubt the most important contemporary composer in tango history, but little known is that Piazzolla used to work both as arranger and bandoneon player for traditional tango orchestra whose music is still widely played and danced all over the world.《La Historia del Tango》will take the audience on a journey to the 19th century in Argentina where tango was originated, all the way to the modern concert hall to witness the revolutionary change of tango music. The program of this concert includes not only classic traditional tango music, but also several pieces by Piazzolla and the work of contemporary tango musician.
