1785 was an important starting year for the piano quartet. Mozart created his important and mature piano concerto & chamber music. e fourteen-year-old Beethoven, who was working hard to create music, took Mozart as his model and composed three piano quartets. Mozart's strong inuence can be seen in the form, music gure, tonality and tempo. ese two composers' piano quartets in 1785, even they are closely related to each other, however the mature Mozart and the young Beethoven have their own unique styles and sounds. is concert will use a ve-octave piano imitating the 1780s' Vienna piano. Inviting you to experience the unique sound of pianoforte, as well as the innite inspiration and emotion conveyed by the music.
