Next is The Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto, featuring the iconic melodies of He Zhanhao and Chen Gang, This piece revives the eternal love story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai and their transformation into butterflies.The second half presents a selection of pieces that depicts the intertwined emotions of love and hate in Romeo and Juliet. From pure love to dramatic conflicts and the cold inevitability of fate, each piece reveals different layers of emotion. These works combine romantic and modern musical styles, offering a multifaceted reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s tragedy. The concert concludes with The Battle of Fate 4.0: Liang Shanbo and Juliet, a musical drama blending Eastern and Western love stories for a powerful and unforgettable finale.
