Prosperity of the Century: The Frequencies of Taichung" is inspired by Taichung, Taiwan, portraying the composer's memories of their hometown as well as visions and imaginations for its future. The imagery includes landmarks such as Wenxin Road, century-old temples, and the Dakeng Scenic Area. The program features original compositions, adapted film scores, and renowned literary works. In addition to preserving the cultural heritage of Taiwan, the curated repertoire also aims to convey the enduring value of local music through thoughtful programming.
