CHIU Yi-hsun Cello Recital Just living is not enough
11/09(Sun)14:30
Cellist Yi-Hsuan Chiu presents a recital inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Butterfly, reflecting on the phrase: “Just living is not enough… one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.” The program explores how music can evoke an appreciation for the simple and essential elements of life. In addition to performing a diverse repertoire, Chiu has commissioned composer Hsieh Hannah to create a new work for cello and piano, enriching the concert with contemporary perspectives. This recital aims to offer audiences a thoughtful musical experience, encouraging reflection on the delicate details that give life its depth and meaning.
