Flutist Hui-Mei Chen organized this concert in collaboration with the Fluteman Chamber Orchestra, presenting an entire program dedicated exclusively to Just Flutes music. She also commissioned a new work for solo flute from Professor Ching-Yu Hsiau- a respected composer- which will receive its world premiere at the concert. This program aims to showcase the distinctive qualities of French flute music through a variety of works by French composers since the 20th century, written for various combinations within the flute family. By collaborating with close friends, the concert seeks to honor the artistic ties between France, its composers, and performers who have studied in Paris.
