Amidst the night, never before has there been such jubilation, with splendid and breathtaking high-flying acrobatics, pulsating music and dance, and the grandiose red and white striped big top, the mysterious and magical Circus Party has arrived in town!

Inspired by the 2017 Hollywood film The Greatest Showman, it tells the story of the legendary American circus tycoon Phineas Taylor Barnum, who founded the Barnum & Bailey Circus. Starting from being a destitute nobody, through relentless effort, he became the master of spreading joy, inspiration, and courage worldwide. This echoes with the founding spirit of FOCA, characterized by Bravery, Passion, and Fearlessness.

Barnum once said, “The noblest art is that of making others happy.” FOCA has assembled a deluxe lineup for this performance, combining live singing to create an awe-inspiring, non-stop party atmosphere! It's a time of family bonding and celebration at the Circus Party!

Formosa Circus Arts (FOCA), founded in 2011, derives its name from the pride and beauty of Taiwan, the “Formosa Island.” Embracing this heritage, FOCA integrates traditional culture, local customs, street culture, and theater arts into its practice, fostering a rich and diverse contemporary circus scene that embodies the spirit of Taiwan. With a commitment to blending different forms of performing arts, FOCA strives to cultivate its own distinctive physical vocabulary. Notably, FOCA has been honored with Taiwan Top government grants since 2017.

Taiwan's circus art incorporates traditional techniques from Chinese acrobatics, innovative thinking from modern and new circus, as well as the aesthetics and spirit of contemporary circus. As a pioneering circus troupe in Taiwan, FOCA has set many records with its diversified operation model. It was not only the first Taiwanese circus troupe to perform at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Festival Off Avignon, but also the first to embark on overseas tours. With its unique and diverse aesthetic forms, FOCA has gained popularity among audiences both domestically and internationally.
