In Between
08/16(Sun)14:30
In this concert, Yu-Tzu employs music as a language of utmost sincerity to reveal a true and natural self. Through a curated selection of cherished works, the aim is to convey inner emotions to the audience, exploring the core essence of "who I am". It is my hope that within the pulse of the music, listeners may find a resonance that mirrors their own experiences—a space for reflection and a silent dialogue with the soul. To bring this vision to life, I am honoured to be joined by two internationally acclaimed musicians, offering a programme of rich and diverse musical landscapes.
Programme Note|The first half of the evening features a collaboration with Paris-based percussionist Wu Hsin-Hsuan. Together, we will present two marimba duets of strikingly contrasting characters. For the second half, I am delighted to partner with Professor Weng Chung-Hua, an eminent pianist highly sought after by performers both in Taiwan and abroad, to explore the evocative dialogue between contemporary percussion and piano.
