Rising French conductor and pianist Victorien Vanoosten returns to Taiwan to perform with the NTSO after his debut in 2025. Joined by acclaimed Taiwanese pianist Meng-Chieh Liu, this anticipated concert features works by Brahms and Dvořák.

The program opens with Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 1, a profound 45-minute masterpiece performed by Liu, whose remarkable story of resilience echoes Brahms’s music. In the second half, Vanoosten conducts Dvořák’s bright Symphony No. 8, a 35-minute work rich in Bohemian folk spirit for NTSO’s 2026/27 season, presenting a compelling contrast of depth and light.
