Taichung Civic Wind Orchestra presents: "Voice of the Citizens IX - Symphony of Nature & Myth"

Join the Taichung Civic Wind Orchestra for an epic musical journey in their ninth "Voice of the Citizens" concert, "Symphony of Nature & Myth."

The concert features the vibrant energy of Jan Van der Roost's Puszta, the agile and mythical Mercury from Holst's The Planets, and the soaring beauty of Ride on the Waves. The centerpiece is Robert W. Smith's monumental The Odyssey, with its thrilling first and third movements depicting the epic struggles of the hero Odysseus. The program also includes a spectacular arrangement of Gershwin's iconic Porgy and Bess Symphony and concludes with the profound and culturally rich Poem of the Roadside Gods.
