In 2026, the Taichung Artists Chamber Choir is invited to Germany and Austria for international exchange performances. The choir will present a Taiwan–Germany Exchange Concert on June 28 at the Zwölf Apostel Church in Berlin, and on July 1 perform in Vienna at St. Peter’s Church as part of the Second European Taiwan Cultural Year. This concert serves as a pre-tour performance for the European tour. The first half features sacred choral works spanning from the Renaissance to the 21st century, including the Agnus Dei from Verdi’s Requiem. The second half focuses on the commissioned series Singing Taichung, Singing Our Taichung, incorporating theatrical movement, lighting effects, and percussion to showcase Taiwan’s diverse cultural landscape and offer audiences a preview of Taiwan’s voice on the European stage.
