New Sound of Recorder Orchestra
10/12(Sat)19:30
"New Sounds of Recorder Orchestra" features five contemporary Taiwanese composers creating new recorder orchestra works with Taiwanese elements. Every piece of music is linked to the theme of Taiwan, whether it is folk customs, aboriginal celebrations, residents' subsistence patterns, or humanities, environment, landscape, etc. The composers take Taiwan as the core, through the full and harmonious sound of a large recorder orchestra, the local story of Taiwan is depicted. In this concert, in addition to the sounds of traditional musical instruments, the composer also made a bold attempt to combine electronic music and aboriginal soundscapes with the recorder orchestra, hoping to create more shocking sounds and performances.
