Pianist CHEN Shih-wei has won the first prize at the Steinberg International Piano Competition in Madrid, Spain, and earned the highest performance diploma from the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media in Germany. Upon returning to Taiwan, he has been invited to collaborate with domestic and international symphony orchestras in over 30 concerto performances.

In this upcoming recital, he will perform Liszt's 12 Etudes d’Execution Transcendante. These études are a showcase of tonal color, sound dynamics, intensity, and technical mastery. As a result, they are longer than typical études, with each piece carrying a unique title. The Transcendental Études remain one of the pinnacles of piano technique, challenging the pianist's performance abilities to the fullest.
