Founded in July 2021, the Central Taiwan Brass Ensemble is a professional group formed by young brass musicians from the central region of Taiwan, dedicated to promoting brass music. This concert features a 15 member orchestral brass and percussion ensemble, highlighting theatrical works and fanfares. The program includes operatic pieces by Verdi and Bizet, ballet music by Tchaikovsky, a fanfare work by Czech composer Janáček, and the premiere of a newly commissioned work Ritual Fanfare for the Sacred by Lou Dan.
