In 1989, YANG Wen-sinn passed the audition at the age of 24, and he was immediately appointed as the principal cellist of the BRSO in West Germany. At the Christmas of the same year, the concert conducted by Leonard Bernstein in commemoration of the Berlin Wall Fall was eagerly anticipated. While Bernstein was conducting, YANG Wen-sinn’s Asian face attracted classical music fans’ great attention as he was captured by cameras broadcasting live to the world.
Now in times of pandemic, YANG Wen-sinn will make a solo debut with peaceful and philosophical Bach’s Cello Suites, and the full collection will be presented at a time.
