Words & Music: American Voices at 250 is the 2026 annual festival presented by Livingsprings Chamber Orchestra. Centered on the theme “Dialogue between Literature and Music,” the series brings together three distinguished professors—Ying-Shan Su, Wei-Shu Tsai, and Meg Meng-Jung Tsai—who have been teaching at universities in the United States and now return to Taiwan for these special performances.

Joined by leading Taiwanese musicians, they will present Pieces of 9/11: Memories from Houston by American composer Jake Heggie. This acclaimed work offers a powerful and deeply moving reflection on memory, loss, and resilience.
