Italian Rondo
09/29(Sun)14:30
Italian opera reached its peak in the 19th century, with composers like Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, and Verdi crafting countless masterpieces. Beyond opera, these composers also left behind a wealth of art songs, encapsulating a range of emotions in mere minutes: Bellini's profound emotional layers, Donizetti's dramatic storytelling, Rossini's playful melodies leading audience to distant lands, and Verdi's exploration of the deepest human emotions of grief and betrayal. Intensely moving emotions are brought to life by bass Julian LO, accompanied by pianist HSU Chia-chi, leading audiences into a romantic Italian rondo.
