Film Director / Good Things Happening Film Studio WU Hsiao-lu

‧Duration : approximately 15 minutes

To whom it may concern can be likened to a note that records fragments of life and is thrown into the river of time. It travels toward the future, waiting for someone to pick it up and read it to connect other chapters of the story.

Peculiar Man observed the daily lives of Les Petites Choses Production members from the perspective of a creator. This collaborative process, which took place in-person and online, enabled Peculiar Man to compose each person's passions, frustrations, and idiosyncrasies into portraits and respond to the surroundings via body movement. Through the reinterpretation of the Good Things Happening Films Studio and director Wu Hsiao-lu, a poetic and detached approach is adopted to portray intimate moments that are either absurd and noisy or lonely and quiet.

Main Creator

Producer & Choreographer / Peculiar Man

Founded in January 2017, Peculiar Man produces the works of German-based dancers/choreographers Jan Möllmer and TIEN Tsai-wei. Based on the belief that art can change an individual completely and the world a little bit, they strive to create works based on their unconditional interest in human nature and strong faith in their aesthetic. Peculiar Man sets out to tell stories through dance that create real and powerful connections to inspire young people and challenge perceptions of life. Peculiar Man's premise is simple: think big, take risks, explore the unfamiliar and most familiar, and avoid compromise to provide meaningful experiences.

Co-Producer / Les Petites Choses Production

Founded in February 2014, Les Petites Choses Production (LPCP) is a contemporary dance collective of 14 creators led by its artistic director YANG Nai-hsuan. LPCP has worked with a diversity of talented people to create inspirational performances and activities. LPCP is also dedicated to community engagement, having promoted the co-creative social movement Monday School since 2016, as well as to its dance aesthetic and vision of "art is with everyone.''

Film Director / Good Things Happening Film Studio WU Hsiao-lu

Inspired by the saying that when dogs wag their tails good things happen, Good Things Happening Film Studio was founded in 2019. This studio is focused on letting stories be seen, in addition to capturing emotions and conveying warmth. Starting from film editing, there has been gradual expansion into directing and shooting of advertisements and short films. Even under diversified integration, this studio maintains a narrative style in the telling of stories. Since its establishment, it has produced advertisements and participated in fashion media, pop culture, music videos, and collaborations, as well as the creation of films, TV series, documentaries, and promotional clips.
