策展論述

《如幻似真—人造時代》The Era of Human-made

2020年為止，全球的人造物總重量已經超過全球自然物質的總重量，我們正式向有機的地球告別。崇高的美學概念，源自人類面對大自然的宏大且危險之美，隨著技術的發展，由自然的崇高過渡至為科技的崇高，如今科技的崇高以更精密的人工智慧與再現的能力重新繪製自然，我們身處人造自然而讚嘆與感動不已，洞穴寓言是否徹底翻轉，何處才是洞穴外的世界？
2022年光之曲幕的《如幻似真—人造時代》系列節目，邀請義大利新媒體藝術天團fuse*《人工植物學》，墨西哥天才塗鴉繪師Rimiyoho與奧地利數位塗鴉創辦團隊OMAi共創的《未來生物圈．Rimiyoho的幻夢世界》，香港新媒體藝術教父林欣傑的《單出曰聲：海》等三組創作，重新思考自然、科技、崇高的命題。
As of 2020, the total weight of human-made objects in the world has exceeded the total weight of natural substances in the world, and we are officially saying goodbye to the organic earth. The concept of sublime aesthetics originates from the grand and dangerous beauty of human beings in the face of nature. With the development of technology, the sublime of nature transitions from the sublime of nature to the sublime of technology. Drawing nature, we are amazed and moved by human-made nature. Has the cave allegory been completely reversed, and where is the world outside the cave?
In 2022, the "The Era of Human-made" series of T.A.P project will invite Italian new media art group fuse* "Artificial Botany", Mexican graffiti artist Rimiyoho and Austrian digital graffiti team OMAi to create " FUTURE BIOSPHERE. A colorful dream by Rimiyoho "., Hong Kong media art artist Keith Lam's "Homeward Waves" , rethinking the propositions of nature, technology and sublime.

新媒體藝術工作者、製作人與策展人，現為Dimension Plus超維度互動創意總監、文化部「科技藝術實驗創新及輔導推動計畫」、「5G雲端運算美學平台」及國立臺灣美術館 「5G沉浸式科技應用實驗場域軟體技術開發與建置」計畫主持人 ，2022桃園科技藝術節及忠泰美術館《生生LIVES 》策展人。曾任臺灣當代文化實驗場（C-LAB)科技媒體實驗平台資深顧問、第58屆威尼斯國際美術雙年展台灣館《3x3x6》製作總監、2021《C-LAB未來媒體藝術節》策展人、2020《Lab kill Lab》計畫及《FUTURE VISION LAB》計畫製作總監、2016-2017《白晝之夜》策展人、2017《桃園科技藝術節策展人》、2016《伊東豊雄的劇場夢》觀念建築展策展人。

He devotes himself into digital art research, promotion and creation. He is the Creative Director of Dimension Plus, and Director of Arts and Technology: Creative Innovation and Counseling Project, and 5G Computing Art Project. He was Senior Consultant of the Preparatory Office of Technology Media Center (Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab), planner of many digital arts creation and center, host of Digital art exchange platform and “playaround workshop”, creative director of Microplayground.

fuse* 是一個跨學科的藝術工作室，研究數位科技的表達可能性，旨在詮釋人類、社會和自然現象的複雜性。自成立以來，工作室的研究主要目標是創作多媒體裝置和表演，其目的是探索不同學科之間的界限，以尋求光、空間、聲音和運動之間的新聯繫。多年來，fuse* 參與許多國際藝術機構和藝術節，包括 Mutek、TodaysArt、Sónart、Artechouse、STRP 雙年展、RomaEuropa、Kikk、Scpitone 和中國國家大劇院。

fuse* is a multidisciplinary art studio that investigates the expressive possibilities of digital technologies, aiming to interpret the complexity of human, social and natural phenomena.
Since its origins, the studio's research has had as its primary objective the creation of multimedia installations and performances, produced with the goal of exploring the boundaries between different disciplines in pursuit of new connections between light, space, sound and movement.
Over the years, fuse* has presented its works and productions internationally in art institutions and festivals including Mutek, TodaysArt, Sónart, Artechouse, STRP Biennial, RomaEuropa, Kikk, Scopitone and the National Centre for the Performing Arts of China.

Rimiyoho
Rimiyoho 是來自墨西哥城的視覺藝術家和插畫家費爾南多·西卡 (Fernando Sica) 的投影繪畫計畫。表演中，Rimiyoho 在建築物或舞台上即時進行繪畫和動畫投影，探索運動中的短暫藝術，在黑暗的地方創造出鼓舞人心的環境。
他曾在墨西哥、德國、中國、加拿大和美國的文化和商業活動中進行現場表演，包括在德國 ZKM 藝術和媒體中心、芝加哥國家墨西哥藝術博物館、2019 年 MUTEK 蒙特利爾、2018 年 Mutek 墨西哥等等。

Rimiyoho is a projection painting project by visual artist and illustrator Fernando Sica from México City. During his performance, Rimiyoho paints and animates in real time projecting on buildings or stages exploring ephemeral art in motion, creating inspiring environments in dark places.
He has performed live at cultural and commercial events in México, Germany, China, Canada and United States, including performances at ZKM Center for Art and Media in Germany, at the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago, MUTEK Montreal 2019, Mutek México 2018 among others.

OMAi
OMAi 是一個維也納投影表演藝術團隊，專注將數位投影作為一種體驗和變革的媒介。 他們的工作包括藝術介入空間、現場表演和互動裝置。 經驗豐富的跨域團隊OMAi持續與國際藝術家、音樂家和科學家合作，尋求超越傳統的藝術體驗方式。

OMAi is a Viennese media art collective focused on digital projections as an experiential and transformational medium. Their work comprises interventions in public space, live performances and interactive installations. The experienced and multidisciplinary team collaborates with an international network of artists, musicians and scientists, seeking to transcend conventional ways of experiencing art.

林欣傑
新媒體藝術家，香港臺灣藝術與科技團隊 Dimension Plus 共同創辦人及藝術總監及複合設計空間 openground 創辦人。作品曾於日本文化廳媒體藝術祭、奧地利林茲電⼦藝術⼤奬 (Prix Ars Electronica) 等國際藝術節獲獎。作品獲邀展至世界各地，並由多家美術博物館收藏。熱衷於新媒體藝術教育，一直出任各大專客席教學、副教授及顧問工作，致力推動數位製作應用於藝術創作中。

Keith Lam
Media Artis, Co-founder and Artistic Director of Art & Technology studio Dimension Plus, founder of composite space openground.
His works have won several awards at international art festivals, including a world-leading art festival Prix Ars Electronica and the Japan Media Arts Festival, etc. His works exhibit around the world and collected by museums. Also committed to new media art education, he teaches, consults and as associate professor at various universities & institutions with the aim of promoting digital fabrication in art.

 

▌光之曲幕 T.A.P. Project

歌劇院將挑高近19米的曲牆結構，打造成一個沉浸式視覺體驗空間，「光之曲幕T.A.P. Project」代表的是：T（科技／劇場／臺中）、A（藝術／建築／觀眾）、P（投影／演出／玩興）的結合，讓歌劇院這個非典型的劇場空間有更多的想像。
