「名加大提琴合奏團」在去年創團成立十週年的年度音樂會「大提琴也瘋狂Ⅰ」中，召集中山音樂系系友一同匯聚玩重奏，藉由一個個洄游的系友們、一次次排練中撞擊出的火花，重燃起初的熱情。

掌聲結束後，2017年名加帶著感恩繼續向前邁進，第二個十年的開始，我們回到創團源地「臺中」－一座擁有深厚悠久文化底蘊、人文薈萃之城。並躬逢國家歌劇院落成，集結中部在地與即將學成歸國的大提琴家，以「大提琴也瘋狂Ⅱ」音樂會再次確立初衷，傳遞音樂文化理念、開創在地演奏家舞台、培育新生代人才視野，期盼在接下來的每個十年，以更美好的樂音陪伴著樂迷朋友們。

本場音樂會演出曲目包羅萬象，從浪漫樂派橫跨至當代樂曲，印象樂派大師「拉威爾：波麗露舞曲」，圓舞曲之王「小約翰．史特勞斯埃及進行曲」、「艾爾維斯：加州的梅柏米舞曲」以及熱門電影主題曲「拉羅．西夫林：不可能的任務」和充滿異國民族曲風的「巴拉萊特．詹姆斯：民謠組曲」等，曲目結構安排精心多樣化，正是名加秉持不斷嘗試各類音樂風格的初衷，期盼為觀眾帶來豐富聽覺饗宴，以及對大提琴演奏上有不同體認。

The Hotshot Cello Choir performed its 10th year anniversary concert, "CRAZY CELLO I,” in Kaoshiung concert hall last year. A rather nostalgic performance, as it was a gathering of primarily alumni cellists from National Sun Yat-sen University’s music department.

For “CRAZY CELLO II,” the ensemble returned to Taichung City. This time, amassing cellists solely from Taichung city to perform in the newly launched National Opera House. We want provide future cellists an opportunity to perform, all the while opening the horizons for generations. For the upcoming ten years, we hope to continually provide and share music with the community.

The concert repertoire is all-encompassing, with pieces ranging from the romantic to the contemporary period. Precisely, “Bolero” from Ravel , “Ägyptischer Marsch” from John Strauss , “California Mabommay” from Alves, “Mission Impossible” from Schifrin and unique folk songs arranged by Barralet James etc. We hope keep our goal to play an eclectic mix of musical pieces, let the audience experience different perspectives of cello pieces.
