2023春天「島作」重返臺中國家歌劇院，舉辦島作纖維市集，邀你前來探索「纖維」材質的各種可能性。
過去「島作」從陶作集出發，讓大家看見了臺灣創作者蘊藏的光芒，本次市集以「纖維」為題，除徵選作品外，也將邀請日本及臺灣纖維材料創作者加入，一睹創作者透過技法將竹、紙、紗及各種布料轉變為各具風采的作品，擴大對纖維材質的想像，認識更多優秀的纖維創作人。
In the Spring of 2023, the Island Craft Fair returns to NTT to host a fair that explores various possibilities on "fiber." Starting the journey from ceramics collections, the previous Island Craft Fair showed us the innate power of Taiwanese creators. This year, the fair specified the material—fiber. It selected the works in an open audition and invited fiber artists from Japan and Taiwan to participate. It is a beautiful chance to see how artists strategically integrate bamboo, paper, cotton yarn, and all sorts of textures into their unique creations. The fair will release your imagination toward fiber as a mere material and take you into the splendid wonderland of brilliant fiber artists.
