Explore the venue using any route you like, choosing your own place to begin and end. With an audio guide and map in hand, you can discover the magnificent, innovative architectural marvel that is the National Taichung Theater.
Rental Hours
Tuesday–Sunday, 11:30–18:00. Each rental has a maximum duration of 2 hours. A late fee of NT$50 will be added for every 30 minutes past the scheduled return time, calculated in 30-minute segments.
NTT Audio Guides
No reservations are required. Visitors can rent NTT Audio Guides on site and determine their own routes upon arrival.

Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, Japanese (日本语), and Korean (한국어)
Fees
General public: NT$120 per person.
Senior citizens age 65 or above (with valid ID): NT$60 per person.
People with disabilities and their designated companions (limited to one) (with valid ID): Free.
Deposit / Valid ID or Cash
A valid ID or deposit of NT$2000 is required.
How to Rent
Audio Guides are available for rent at the Customer Service Counter (1F/Lobby).
Notice
※ Audio Guides must be returned to the Customer Service Counter after use. NTT staff will check equipment before returning IDs or refunding deposits. Audio Guides arranged for a group must be collected and returned together.
※ Users are responsible for any loss or damage to the Audio Guides. A penalty will be levied to cover equipment replacement.
※ Rental fees are non-refundable regardless of use.
※ Working and audience seating areas of the Grand Theater, Playhouse and Black Box are not accessible.
