Prinz Sou-Chong
Tenor. LIN has served as a resident soloist at the Kiel Opera House in Northern Germany. With over 20 years of performing experience, his voice is characterized by pure tone and powerful resonance. He excels in Mozart and Italian bel canto repertoires and has gradually ventured into romantic and verismo operas, showcasing diverse stage personas. His recent major opera performances include: Prince Tamino in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, the first opera production of the Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival; leading roles in Evergreen Symphony Orchestra’s opera series Johann Strauss II’s Die Fledermaus, Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail, and Webber 's Der Freischütz; Jean in Massenet’s Sapho with Taipei Opera Theater; Alfredo in La Traviata at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying); and participation in the cross-disciplinary literary music theater Imagining a Poetic Space with the Neo-Classical Chamber Ensemble.
