CHANG Yin-chi

Tenor. CHANG received a Master of Arts in Performance from the Department of Music at Soochow University, where he studied under LIN Chung-kuang, SUN Ching-chi, and LEE Syou-fen. He has participated in numerous opera productions, including: Raoul de St. Brioche in Lehár's The Merry Widow with the National Symphony Orchestra in 2019, Gaston in Verdi’s La Traviata at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) in 2021, Walter in Wagner’s opera concert Tannhäuser at the National Taichung Theater in 2021, Goro in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly at the Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival in 2022, Spoletta in Puccini’s Tosca at the Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival in 2024. In 2019, he was selected to perform the lead role of Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Bohème, a co-production by the R. Tebaldi and M. del Monaco International Opera Academy in Italy and the Batumi Art & Musical Centre in the Republic of Georgia, with performances held at Teatro della Fortuna in Italy.
He currently serves as a choral instructor at Taitung University’s Department of Music, conductor of the Taipei Municipal Bailing Elementary School Choir, conductor of the JC Choir, vocal coach and assistant conductor for the Taipei Philharmonic Civic Chorale, and vocal instructor for the Taipei Philharmonic Foundation’s basic vocal training class.
