Tiago Rodrigues is a Portuguese director, actor, playwright, and producer whose genius works have earned him accolades like XV Europe Prize Theatrical Realities (2018), the title Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) and the 2019 Prémio Pessoa. Rodrigues is now serving as the director of the Festival d'Avignon since September 2022, the first non-French person to be appointed for the role. Tiago Rodrigues has always looked at the theater as a human assembly and his encounter with tg STAN confirmed his attachment to the absence of hierarchy in a creative group.
