WANG Pei-yao

Widely in demand as a soloist and chamber musician, WANG Pei-yao has given concerts throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. World-famous musicians Hilary Hahn, LIN Cho-liang, HU Nai-yuan, Benny Tseng, Nicola Benedetti, Mitsuko Uchida and Jerôme Comte, among many others, have collaborated with her.

As a graduate of Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Program, WANG has worked with noted conductors including James Levine and Alan Gilbert. As a production team member at the Metropolitan Opera, she has contributed to over 20 productions nationwide. One of the works Doctor Atomic received the Grammy Award in 2011.

In addition to achievements in over 20 solo and chamber works, WANG has made her conducting debut in 2017 at National Concert Hall in Taipei, premiering seven vocal chamber works written by Taiwanese female composers.
