CHU An-li

The leading huadan actress of GuoGuang Opera Company, CHU is a member of the 3rd graduating class of LuGuang Drama School, and was given the stage name CHU Sheng-li. She studied under renowned masters of Peking Opera, including QIN Hui-fen, LIU Ming-bao and BAI Yu-wei. She has performed for the Contemporary Legend Theater, La Cie MaxMind, Ju Percussion Group, and Shakespeare’s Wild Sisters Group. CHU is a recipient of the Chinese Literary Award and the Best Dan-role Award of the Chinese Cultural Council. In 2018, she was awarded the Taipei Cultural Award.
