YANG Ching-hsiang

Director

Born in Chiayi County, Taiwan, YANG is currently a visiting assistant professor at the National Taiwan University of the Arts and the artistic director of Yang's Ensemble. He was recognized by the 2012 Toga Asian Theatre Directors' Festival. As a playwright, director and actor, YANG has received 9 nominations from the Taishin Arts Award. In 2019, he directed the opening ceremony of the 56th Golden Horse Awards and was also nominated for best script and best drama at the 47th Golden Bell Awards. His recent theater works include Taiwan Hólíwood: A Musical Comedy, The Banality of Evil, and Roommates.
