A celebrated singer honored with both the Golden Melody Awards and the Golden Bell Awards, SHEN Wen-cheng is renowned for his soaring vocals and beloved Taiwanese classics such as Who Knows My Mind? Before rising to stardom, he performed rock music in U.S. military clubs and served as an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force. In 1999, he received the Best Taiwanese Male Singer award at the 10th Golden Melody Awards for his album Setting Out, and in 2013 won the Travel Program Host award at the 48th Golden Bell Awards for Let’s Go Fishing. Over the course of his career, he has written and recorded numerous enduring hits, including Who Knows My Mind, ROCK, and Strive.
In recent years, SHEN has returned to the concert stage with remarkable success, giving nine major concerts over the past four years, with more performances continuing to be added. His enduring popularity, consistent box office appeal, and commanding stage presence have reaffirmed his place as one of Taiwan’s most celebrated Mandarin- and Taiwanese-language singers.
