Daniel WANG

Director

Daniel WANG gained his Master’s degree from the Graduate Institute of Drama and Theatre at National Taiwan University and was the Artist-in-Residence at National Taichung Theater (2017-2018). He currently works as a theater actor, playwright, and director, and is a principal artist of M.O.V.E. Theatre. His diversified productions depict cultural phenomena of contemporary Taiwan with concerns of modernity, humanity, and social changes. His plays are widely invited to perform overseas, among which are Uncle Poet, The Unnamed, and Kuang Qi. Kuang Qi received four awards at the Bangkok Theatre Festival 2017.
