HUANG Yi

Artistic Director, Choreographer, Programmer & Dancer

Born in Taiwan, HUANG Yi’s art combines multiple fields like dance, robot, computer program and video. HUANG YI & KUKA, one of his iconic works, has been presented globally stages at the Arts Electronica Festival (Austria), and Holland Dance Festival, among others. He is the first Taiwanese to be on the stage of TED for the opening performance of TED2017. He is covered by international media outlets like The New York Times, CNN and Time Magazine. He started his study at the College of Management, National Taiwan University to explore the future possibilities of performing arts team operation.
