LIN Wei-chung began his musical journey in college, when he first picked up the drums and performed rock music with student groups. Over time, he developed a strong passion for jazz and improvisation, eventually making them his primary focus.
In 2003, LIN co-founded a jazz band dedicated to performing traditional jazz. At the same time, he was active in the independent music scene, creating avant-garde works and performing at major rock music festivals such as Spring Scream, Ho-Hai-Yan Rock Festival, and Formoz Festival. His experiences span a wide range of musical fields and genres.
LIN has collaborated with many acclaimed musicians, including MAS, Toshi Fujii, Shawna YANG, PENG Yu-wen, Martijn Vanbuel, HSU Yu-ying, HSIEH Ming-yen, Tseng Tseng-yi, and Hope YEH, as well as international artists such as Alex Terrier and Tyler Blanton
