Aubrey Johnson

Aubrey Johnson is a prominent jazz vocalist based in New York. She holds a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from the New England Conservatory.
She is a three-time recipient of the DownBeat Collegiate Student Music Awards, earning two Outstanding Performance Awards in 2007 and 2010, and the Best Jazz Vocalist Award in 2008.
Johnson’s musical style is deeply rooted in jazz, Brazilian music, and imaginative contemporary sounds. Her performances and teaching have taken her throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. She is currently on the jazz faculty at Queens College, City University of New York.
