WU Ping-sheng
Sound Artist
WU Ping-sheng works on a variety of sound art forms, including sound installation, film music composing, experimental sound, and electroacoustic live performance. He keeps focusing on the sounds that exist in daily life for inspiration of music production. By observing the natural sounds and processing the sound by digital methods, he has been working on the natural and artificial translation and substitution of sounds among various media. He has won the Outstanding New Media Art Award and the first prize of the Performance Award in the Digital Art Awards Taipei.
