Franck Chartier
Choreographer & Artistic Director
From 1986 to 1989, Franck Chartier was a member of Maurice Béjart’s Ballet du 20ème Siècle. He also performed the famous ballet Le spectre de la rose at the Paris Opera with the French modern dancer Angelin Preljocaj. In 2000, he co-founded the renowned dance troupe Peeping Tom with Gabriela Carrizo. In 2015, he directed The Lost Room for Nederlands Dans Theater 1 (NDT1), receiving the prestigious Dutch Swan. Chartier worked with Gabriela Carrizo on 31 Rue Vandenbranden in 2018, opened the renowned Biennale de la danse de Lyon, the oldest dance festival in France.
