HUNG Yi-po
Performer & Choreographer
A graduate of Shih Chien University’s Department of Communications Design with a focus on Innovative Media Design, HUNG Yi-po is a street dancer and freelancer, as well as a member of the dance group “Kuang.” His work integrates street dance with tech art, extending into dance video and music production. HUNG is known for exploring the boundaries and limitations between technology and the human body, creating, deconstructing, and regenerating forms born from this process. Recently, his piece The Queen and Her Mirror won second place in the Taoyuan Art ✕ Technology Festival 2024. He was also selected for the LAB X The Young Artist’s Atelier program at the National Taichung Theater in 2023, and won the Grand Prize in the Emerging Artist category at the Taoyuan Technology Performing Arts Awards and the TAICCA Special Award in 2022 with System Tandm.
